Antique Victorian Mourning Pearl Garnet Cluster Ring Dated 1876 Edwardian (1901-1914)An exquisite antique Victorian Mourning cluster ring lined with a row of white seed pearls across the centre, flanked by rows of deep red garnets above and below and two larger cushion cut almandine garnets at each side. The ring was likely made in memory of a deceased loved one and has been engraved with the name Annie Montgomerie behind the face and decorated with garnets to symbolise everlasting love and seed pearls to represent tears. CONDITION: Good – Some evidence of repair work and a few crooked tassel tips but this is considerable given its age
