Lloyd Jones was a member and exhibitor at the Ipswich Art Club 1878 1895 and may have had a 'holiday home' in the county and in 1881 exhibited from Beauchamp House, Wimborne Minster, thirteen pictures including an oil 'Heigh Ho! the Holly' and watercolours 'Cold Hill Firs', 'Countisbury in a Fog' and 'Ivybridge', in 1882 he had eleven pictures on

The boards show some rubbing to the extremities but are firmly attached

however the assay mark for London and date hallmark of 1930 remain clearly visible

The mirror boasts its original mirror plate which remains in a very good condition throughout with some very slight foxing to the edges in places commensurate with age

The match striker to the base remains in an excellent condition

The cellars show some tarnish and light wear commensurate with age but remain in a remarkably good condition overall

Hanley & Southampton' is stamped to the base

They were used for storing valuable possessions

The racks sits above the solid oak base which has three fielded drawers with later brass handles

and has been taped to the rear

however both candlesticks remain firmly weighted and stand firm
