z(1920). Arturo. Farnell. Showcased by Josie Rockett 11.5insThis lovely boy is Arturo, he is a glorious 25 inch white Farnell bear made in the 1920s. He has a good covering of mohair, his white colour has creamed a little with age. He is mostly filled with kapok with a little wood wool in his muzzle and body. He has tan coloured nose, mouth and claw stitching and he still has his original webbed claw stitching sewn onto his paws. His pads are made from felt and he has lovely dark amber glass eyes. He is such a

slight general wear and fading

His original pads were found underneath more recent red felt

about 11 inches tall and fully jointed
